US fighter jets refuel over the Pacific in military exercise
This is the impressive moment U.S. fighter jets refuelled over the Pacific during a military exercise.
Footage shows a U.S. Marine Corps KC-130J Super Hercules from Marine Aerial Refueler Transport Squadron (VMGR) 152 refueling F/A-18 Hornet jets of Marine Fighter Attack Squadron (VMFA) 312 during Exercise Cope North 25 on February 20.
The midair refuelling operation enabled the Hornets to extend their flight time as part of the training program.
VMFA-312, deployed under the Unit Deployment Program, participated in the exercise to enhance pilot proficiency in the Indo-Pacific region.
The exercise focused on improving coordination between U.S. forces and regional allies through shared tactics, techniques, and procedures.
