Tiktoker 'jahigaulman' was trying to get inside after work when he got an unexpected jolt.

As he grabbed the large gate to open it, a low-voltage shock surged through his arm, leaving it numb. Thinking it was a fluke, he moved to the smaller gate, only to realize the entire thing was electrified. With no downed power lines nearby, the mystery deepened.

After finally kicking the gate open and making it inside, he still felt tingling in his arm.

'Jhigaulman'told Newsflare: "I'm still in awe and unsure what could’ve happened. In all my years living here through all sorts of storms and bad weather, nothing like this has ever occurred."

So I was coming home from work and as I went to open the larger gate, I was greeted by a low-voltage shock. After about 1-2 seconds I let go and felt a brief numbness in my arm. I walked over to the smaller gate and realized the whole gate was electrified. I was able to kick the larger one open to get inside. I took a video to show my dad inside the house and my brother, who wasn't home yet. My dad told the neighbors, and they had no idea. We thought it could've been from the automatic gate they had installed. Water could have seeped into the power box, caused it to malfunction, and released a current through both gates. There were no downed power lines in the area which may have caused this to occur. After going inside, I still felt a bit of numbness in my arm. It felt very similar to pulling a prank gum stick but slightly more intense. I'm still in awe and unsure what could’ve happened. In all my years living here through all sorts of storms and bad weather, nothing like this has ever occurred.
