A toddler with her head stuck in a motorcycle trailer was rescued by her family.

Footage shows the hapless young girl caught between the metal bars of the cargo carrier in Khon Kaen, Thailand, on March 14.

Her grandparents can be seen attempting to push and turn her head gently to widen the grilles, but they were unsuccessful.

Moments later, they decided to cut the bar to create enough space for her to be freed safely.

After removing the child, she can be seen visibly shaken and sobbing from what happened, causing the elderly woman to calm her down.

Her grandmother recalled that the child was playing near the trailer parked at home.

She said: 'She cried so loud, and we panicked to see what happened to her. We saw her trying to pull back her head, but she couldn't.'

The child reportedly did not sustain any injuries from the incident.
