Hundreds of Padang residents took part in Itikaf at the Grand Mosque in West Sumatra
On the last ten nights of the month of Ramadan, hundreds of Padang residents follow Itikaf or remain silent in the mosque with the aim of worshiping Allah SWT.
The iktikaf at the Grand Mosque in West Sumatra is attended by parents, adults, women and children. The practices carried out during the iktikaf include performing prayers, reading the al quran and deepening religious knowledge.
During the iktikaf, the participants stay in the mosque until one day before Eid. The needs for sahur and breaking the fast during the iktikaf have been prepared by the management of the Grand Mosque in West Sumatra.
