Phoenix, United States - March 30, 2025 03/30/2025 02:00 am (GMT-0700) PHOENIX, Ariz. – Phoenix Police and Phoenix Fire crews responded to reports of a person shot near 34th Avenue and Willetta Street around 2:00 a.m. Officers arrived to find multiple people fleeing from a house party where shots were reportedly fired. Officers detained several people. A female gunshot victim was located on 34th Avenue between Lynwood and Willetta Streets. Officers rendered aid until Phoenix Fire Department crews arrived at the scene. Fire department personnel arrived a short time later and pronounced the victim deceased at the scene. Officers established a crime scene several blocks wide, from 34th Drive to 33rd Avenue between Lynwood Street and Culver Street. Several shell casings were located throughout the involved neighborhood. The Phoenix Police Department's homicide detectives have taken command of the investigation.
