Twister's mile-long path of damage in Californian city
A twister tore through a city in California leaving a mile-long path of damage in just two minutes.
Ashley Munsinger-Alvarado, 36, captured the moment a tornado formed in Modesto, California, on April 1, 2025.
The tornado touched touched down at 2:15pm and traveled nearly one-mile in two minutes with winds of 76mph.
No injuries were reported, but the tornado damaged properties, uprooted trees, and lifted a trailer, according to local reports.
Ashley said it was a "crazy" weather moment that came out of nowhere."
Ashley, a small business owner, from Modesto, California, said: "It was a crazy weather moment."
"It was really cloudy, and then all of a sudden it started raining really hard, when I got out of my car I saw the funnel cloud."
"It all happened at once, I was intrigued. Where we are, we don't get many tornadoes."
"That one touched down and did some damage."
