Israel - April 06, 2025 After years of undercover investigations, a complaint will be filed today against 12 senior members of the Abu Latif crime syndicate, including its leader Latif Abu Latif, on suspicion of controlling state and local tenders through extortion and violence in order to make hundreds of millions of dollars in profit. The investigation revealed monopolization of contract work, issuing fake invoices and planting an explosive device in a businessman's car. The targeted tenders were distributed to local governments, including: Nesher, Netanya, Yarka, Jadeida Makr, Kabul and Sha'ab.
