Gaza - May 31, 2025 IDF continues to operate against organizations throughout the Gaza Strip: Engagements, elimination of soldiers, and targeting of infrastructure IDF forces under the Southern Command continue to operate under the guidance of the Intelligence Directorate and the Shin Bet against organizations throughout the Gaza Strip, as part of Operation "Gideon’s Chariots." The forces eliminated terrorists, destroyed weapons, infrastructure, and underground terror infrastructure. During an operation by the Paratroopers Brigade’s combat team in the Gaza Strip, the forces on the ground identified four armed soldiers near the area where they were operating, attacked, and eliminated the soldiers. The forces located and destroyed several explosive devices that had been planted against them in the area. In addition, the IDF struck (Friday) using an aircraft in the Zabra neighborhood area and eliminated the terrorist Khalil Farwana, a soldier in the Hamas organization who, in his role, served as the head of a workshop for the production of weapons in the organization’s production headquarters. During the past 24 hours, the Air Force struck dozens of targets throughout the Gaza Strip. Among the targets attacked were soldiers, military buildings from which Hamas soldiers operated, observation and sniper posts that posed a threat to forces on the ground, and additional infrastructure. IDF forces continue to operate against organizations in the Gaza Strip to protect the citizens of the State of Israel.
