Madrid, Spain - March 29, 2025 Agents from the Madrid Municipal Police arrested a man selling various narcotic substances hidden in scratch-off envelopes in the city center, a Local Corps spokesperson told Europa Press. The arrest occurred around 10:30 p.m. on March 29 on Libreros Street. Officers followed two individuals walking together who later split up. When they stopped one of them, he claimed he was offering money to the other man to buy a dog. Due to his nervous behavior, police searched him and found over twenty colorful tourist-themed scratch-off envelopes in a back pocket. These contained doses of LSD, tusi (pink cocaine), cocaine, anxiety pills, and vapes. He also carried nearly 2,000 euros in cash, divided into small amounts. The man was detained on charges of a crime against public health after police seized the drugs and money on March 29 on Libreros Street.
