At least nine people have been killed and more than 70 injured after Russia launched a massive missile attack on Kyiv.

Footage from April 24 shows emergency services inspecting damaged building in search of residents buried under the rubble.

Among the injured is six children and a pregnant woman, according to reports.

Russia launched a large bombardment on Kyiv with missiles and drones overnight, killing at least eight people, wounding more than 70 and smashing buildings in the biggest attack on the Ukrainian capital this year. The rescue attempt will continue throughout the day as there is suspected to be many people still buried under the rubble, rescue service utilise dogs to try and find them. Among the injured is a number of children.
