Super Cucumber keeps his cool to win Spanish football's Mascot League
The Butarque Stadium in Madrid, the home of La Liga club Leganes, played host to the second edition of 'The Mascot League' on Sunday, bringing together the iconic figures from professional football clubs in a friendly competition to test their competitive nature and entertainment value.
A special guest appearance was made by The Dolphin, the team mascot from the NFL team Miami Dolphins.
The 18 participants had to demonstrate their skills and abilities in a series of scheduled events.
Super Cucumber, the Leganes mascot, emerged as the winner after competing in football matches, penalty shoot-outs and strength and agility tests.
Super Cucumber was joined on the podium by Indi, the Atletico Madrid mascot, and Txurdin, from Real Sociedad.
