MISSILES BEING FIRED FROM PAKISTAN PAKISTAN - MAY 10, 2025 - RESTRICTION: USERS MUST CREDIT “ISPR DIRECTORATE OF PAKISTAN ARMED FORCES” HANDOUT — EDITORIAL USE ONLY — Islamabad launched retaliatory strikes early Saturday, May 10, against military installations in India, according to the Pakistani military. The Indian army said Saturday that Pakistan drone strikes continued along its western border. “Pakistan’s blatant escalation with drone strikes and other munitions continues along our western borders,” it said on X. In one incident, “multiple enemy armed drones” were spotted above Khasa Cantonment in the city of Amritsar in Punjab state, said the military. It added that the “hostile drones were instantly engaged and destroyed by our air defense units.“ “Pakistan’s blatant attempt to violate India’s sovereignty and endanger civilians is unacceptable. The Indian Army will thwart enemy designs,” it said. The statement came after Pakistan announced "Operation Bunyan-un-Marsoos," or "Iron Wall," firing missiles in retaliation to New Delhi's "Operation Sindoor," launched inside Pakistan on May 6, which killed 33 victims and injured 62, according to the Pakistan army. At least 17 people have been killed along the Line of Control in Indian-administered Kashmir. While Pakistan announced missile attacks, the Indian army noted drones and "other munitions" above its skies, without further explanation.
