Pro-Russian Motorcade Takes Over Greek City, Waving Russian and Wagner Paramilitary Group Flags - Russian nationals living in Greece organized a striking motorcade through the streets of the northern city of Thessaloniki in Greece to mark Victory Day.

The convoy, consisting of dozens of vehicles adorned with various Russian flags, moved through central avenues of the city and concluded its procession at the iconic White Tower. Among the flags displayed were the official flag of the Russian Federation, Soviet-era banners, the black-and-orange St. George's ribbon—a prominent Russian military symbol—and even flags associated with the Wagner paramilitary group.

Upon arrival at the landmark White Tower of Thessaloniki, many participants exited their vehicles, waving flags and playing Russian patriotic music from their cars. The demonstration attracted attention from passersby, with several onlookers applauding the group. "Today is Victory Day — it’s the most important and significant holiday for us," said Yana, a Russian woman participating in the pro-Russian motorcade, wearing a Soviet military hat and a black-and-orange St. George's ribbon on her chest.

This public display comes amid heightened sensitivities in Europe regarding symbols linked to Russia, particularly given the ongoing war in Ukraine and the international controversies surrounding groups like Wagner.
