US: Kilauea Volcano Blasts Lava Fountain 500 Feet Into The Sky

United States - May 11, 2025 Hawaii’s Kilauea volcano erupted again on May 11, launching a dramatic fountain of lava high into the air. The eruption marked Episode 21 of its current phase of volcanic activity. According to the USGS Hawaiian Volcano Observatory, the lava fountain reached 500 feet, or 150 meters. Lava began to ooze out onto the crater floor, fed by the powerful fountain. Tour operator EpicLava captured the moment the volcano unleashed the fiery spectacle.
