Recently, in Changde, Hunan, an elementary school boy was playing during recess when, driven by curiosity, he put a triangular ruler into his mouth. The ruler became stuck deep in his oral cavity and couldn’t be removed, creating an urgent situation. The teacher quickly called emergency services.

When firefighters arrived, they found the boy visibly anxious due to the prolonged pressure of the ruler's sharp edges inside his mouth. The ruler was lodged deep, and the sharp corners left very little room to remove it directly.

To quickly relieve the boy's discomfort and avoid further injury, the firefighters decided to use professional tools to carefully break the ruler into pieces. After a delicate operation, they successfully removed the ruler, and the boy was finally able to breathe a sigh of relief.
