At approximately 3 a.m. on June 9, a disturbing incident occurred in the elevator lobby on the first floor of an apartment building in Baiyun Subdistrict, Dongyang City, Zhejiang Province, China. Surveillance footage captured a man wearing a helmet (identified as Li, male, 33 years old) approaching a woman from behind, forcibly grabbing and pushing her to the ground, and committing an act of sexual assault.

The woman, who was alone and waiting for the elevator, struggled and cried for help, but the assailant did not stop and quickly fled the scene afterward.

Local police responded swiftly to the report, launching an immediate investigation. The suspect was identified and tracked down, and he has since been taken into custody.

Li is currently under criminal detention as the investigation continues.
