A cheeky orangutan was caught on camera playfully pulling faces at zoogoers.

Lucie Štěpničková, 38 was visiting the Santillana del Mar Zoo in Spain on May 15, 2025, with her friend when she caught the animal messing around.

In the footage the great ape runs up to the glass and started poking its tongue out to adoring spectators.

Sensing the love from the crowd, the orangutan then began puckering up and giving kisses to them from behind the glass.

Lucie, a shop assistant, from Prague, Czech Republic, said: "As soon as I came to their glass, the girls got up and immediately ran to me. "

"We immediately started talking to them and playing with them. "

"The girls are incredibly curious, so we had to show them our backpacks and gradually empty them. "

"They made different faces at us through the glass."
