The convoy was warmly welcomed by a large crowd upon its arrival in the city. Locals in Tajura hosted the activists with lunch, water, and fruit juice, expressing solidarity with their mission. Following a short break, Libyan citizens and convoy participants held a demonstration calling for an end to the blockade on Gaza. After the rally, the convoy resumed its journey toward its next destination in Libya, the city of Misrata. Departing from Tunisia, the convoy includes around 2,000 activists from Tunisia, Algeria, Morocco, and Mauritania. On Sunday, it reached the Libyan city of Zawiya, where it was also welcomed with great enthusiasm and joined by many Libyan activists. The convoy consists of nearly 120 vehicles and 12 buses. Organizers expect additional activists from various countries to join the group in Egypt after arriving by land and air via Cairo. The initiative is part of a broader effort by international civil society movements aiming to break the ongoing blockade on Gaza and deliver humanitarian aid to Palestinians under siege.
