Los Angeles, United States - June 17, 2025 06/17/2025 12:28 am GMT-0700 VERNON, Calif. – Firefighters from the Los Angeles County Fire Department responded Tuesday morning to a report of a commercial structure fire on the 2400 block of East 37th Street. Upon arrival, they found an outside fire that had spread to a two-story commercial office building and warehouse. Crews worked diligently to extinguish the flames but encountered challenges with some hot spots that were difficult to access. It took nearly an hour for firefighters to bring the fire under control. No injuries were reported, and the building, which appears to be vacant, was formerly known as Maas-Hansen Steel Corp. The cause of the fire remains unknown at this time.
