US, Los Angeles: Santa Monica Juvenile Shot In Waymo
Los Angeles, United States - June 23, 2025 06/22/2025 11:00 pm GMT-0700 SANTA MONICA, Calif. – Santa Monica police responded to a shooting at the intersection of 2nd Street and Broadway. According to radio traffic from the California Highway Patrol, a juvenile was shot by an unknown suspect who was last seen fleeing the area, but it is unclear if the suspect escaped on foot or in a vehicle. The victim appeared to have been shot inside a Waymo vehicle, where at least four shell casings were found nearby. Three bullet holes were visible in the passenger window of the car. The age and gender of the victim have not been disclosed, and Santa Monica police did not provide further information at the scene. KNN has contacted the Santa Monica PD for additional information.
