US, Los Angeles: Florence Double Shooting
Los Angeles, United States - June 24, 2025 06/23/2025 11:00 pm GMT-0700 FLORENCE, Calif. – Los Angeles Police Department officers and the Los Angeles Fire Department responded to multiple reports of a shooting in the area of 61st Street and Avalon Boulevard. Officers arrived and located two victims with gunshot wounds. One victim suffered a wound to the leg, while the second was shot in the abdomen. LAFD paramedics transported both individuals to nearby hospitals for treatment. In addition to the victims, LAPD officers found a red Dodge Charger that had been shot at Vernon Avenue and Avalon Boulevard. The male driver was unharmed, but his vehicle had a shot-out rear window. No suspect information has been released at this time.
