Los Angeles, United States - May 29, 2025 05/29/2025 01:30 am GMT-0700 FLORENCE, LOS ANGELES, Calif. – Los Angeles police officers from the 77th Division and firefighters from the Los Angeles Fire Department responded to a report of a shooting on the 200 block of 82nd Street. Upon arrival, officers found a man with a gunshot wound to the head; he was conscious and breathing. Paramedics from the Los Angeles Fire Department arrived at the scene and transported the man to a nearby trauma center for treatment. Officers spoke with witnesses, who reported that a red or burgundy sedan drove up and fired rounds at the victim. The suspects were last seen traveling east on 82nd Street and then turning south on Main Street, away from the area. Investigators found at least one 9mm shell casing at the scene.
