Phoenix, United States - June 24, 2025 06/24/2025 02:24 am GMT-0700 PHOENIX, Ariz. – Phoenix police officers and Phoenix Fire Department crews responded to reports of a shooting at a residence near 5th Street and Beth Drive at approximately 2:40 a.m. According to the Phoenix police lieutenant at the scene, officers arrived to find an adult male gunshot victim. The victim was transported to a local trauma center by Phoenix fire crews in critical condition. A short time later, a second victim, described as an adult female, was found with a minor gunshot wound to the arm. She was transported to a local trauma center in stable condition. Information gathered by officers at the scene suggests the shooting occurred after an altercation at a family party at the residence. The suspect is believed to be known to the family and the victims, and fled the scene before the arrival of first responders. The firearm used by the suspect was recovered at the scene. Detectives have taken command of the ongoing investigation.
