Phoenix, United States - August 01, 2025 07/31/2025 08:00 pm GMT-0700 PHOENIX, Ariz. – According to information obtained at the scene, officers responded to a report of shots fired in the area of 20th Avenue and Larkspur Drive around 8:00 p.m. Additional information was relayed to responding officers, stating a victim had been shot. Officers located an unidentified gunshot victim near the area where the shots were reported. Phoenix firefighters responded to the scene and transported the victim to a local hospital in unknown condition. Upon further investigation, officers and detectives learned that the victim was shot after a stray bullet pierced the wall of their residence. A large crime scene was established, spanning from Larkspur Drive to Corrine Drive, along 20th Avenue. Detectives and crime scene investigators were seen scouring the block for evidence.
