US, Los Angeles: Florence-Firestone 1 Killed in Possible Carjacking
Los Angeles, United States - June 27, 2025 06/26/2025 11:51 pm GMT-0700 FLORENCE-FIRESTONE, LOS ANGELES, Calif. – Los Angeles police officers and sheriff's deputies responded to the intersection of Compton Avenue and East 92nd Street for reports of a shooting victim. Initial reports indicated that a carjacking had occurred, and two shooting victims were involved. At least one victim was pronounced dead at the scene, while another was transported to the hospital by the Los Angeles Fire Department. The Los Angeles Police Department then turned the scene over to the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department. No further details are currently available.
