This is the amusing moment a pet owner turned a toy repair into a mock operation with her 'dogtors'.

The three pooches reportedly fought over the pink teddy bear and destroyed it while playing in Manila, the Philippines.

This inspired Norlani Eco, their keeper, to fix the plush toy in a creative and entertaining way.

Norlani said: 'I was about to sew the toy, but my daughter, who is in med school, sent me a photo from the operating room. That sparked the idea to turn the repair session into a mock surgery with my dogs.'

Footage captured by one of her daughters, Gouhld, shows the adorable canines — Kai, 3, a Maltese; Twinkle, 5, a Shih Tzu; and Chewie, 7, a Shih Tzu-Japanese Spitz mix — sitting patiently on a table.

They can be seen wearing surgical face masks and hair nets as they watch their owner, donned in gloves, a mask, and a hair cap, 'perform the operation' on July 5.

Meanwhile, Greigh can be heard gently commanding the dogs to focus on the toy.

The family even elevated the scene by displaying a background image of an operating room on the TV screen to complete the surgical atmosphere.

Norlani added: 'They fought over the toy, and now they have to help me repair it.'
