VARIOUS OF FUNERAL PRAYER BEING PERFORMED AHEAD OF BURIALGAZA, PALESTINE - JULY 9: At least 10 Palestinians including two children were killed after an Israeli airstrike targeted a home belonging to the Jawda family in the Al-Shati Refugee Camp, west of Gaza City on Wednesday, July 9. The bodies were taken to Al-Shifa Hospital in Gaza, where grieving relatives held a funeral prayer in the courtyard. 26 Palestinians killed in Israeli airstrikes on Gaza since early Wednesday including 20 in 2 massacres west of Gaza City and southern Gaza, medical sources tell Anadolu. The Israeli army has killed nearly 57,600 Palestinians, most of them women and children, in Gaza since October 2023. The relentless bombardment has destroyed the enclave and led to food shortages and a spread of disease. Last November, the International Criminal Court issued arrest warrants for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his former Defense Minister Yoav Gallant for war crimes and crimes against humanity in Gaza. Israel also faces a genocide case at the International Court of Justice for its war on the enclave.
