OFFICIALS CARRYING BODIES TO AMBULANCEBALI, INDONESIA - JULY 9, 2025: Two more bodies have been recovered in the ongoing search for victims of a ferry that sank off the coast of Indonesia’s Bali Island last week, bringing the confirmed death toll to 12. The joint search and rescue (SAR) team said the bodies were found on the eighth day of the operation. The ill-fated vessel was carrying 65 people when it sank on the night of July 2 en route from East Java to Bali. So far, 30 survivors have been rescued. Efforts to locate the remaining missing passengers are continuing with intensified operations in the area.
