Home to approximately 20,000 butterflies across 15 different species, the garden gives guests the chance to observe the exquisite design of butterfly wings in detail. Butterflies taste with their feet, and their wings are covered with millions of microscopic scales that form complex patterns—including eye-like shapes that help deter predators. Other unique features, such as compound eyes, scaled wings, and spiral-shaped feeding organs, allow butterflies to detect ultraviolet light, identify nectar-rich flowers, and evade threats. While these anatomical details are nearly impossible to see with the naked eye, visitors can observe butterflies fluttering among nectar plants throughout the facility. Educational banners and staff are available to guide guests through the life cycle of butterflies and explain their specialized adaptations. With a 1,600-square-meter butterfly flight zone, the garden remains one of Türkiye’s leading eco-tourism destinations, blending biodiversity and environmental education in an immersive visual experience.
