Excited tourists whizzed down a hillside on sleighs fixed to rails in China.

Tourists Mr Zhang and his friends enjoyed the exciting, adrenaline-fueled ride at Nalati Grassland in Yili, Xinjiang.

Point-of-view footage shows the group of holidaymakers sliding across the lush green slope amid rich meadows between the hills on May 23.

The tourists can be seen accelerating down the 65ft outdoor slide, which features eight lanes, before they reach staff members waiting at the end of the line.

The breathtaking landscape, with mountain views facing the outdoor slide, added to the ethereal ambience of the scenery.

Nalati Grassland is a sub-alpine meadow of Gongnaisi Grassland, one of the four largest grasslands in the world. It is also known as the 'Sky Grassland' because of its high altitude and steep terrain.
