BONDI ANSWERING ANOTHER QUESTION WASHINGTON, US - JULY 15: US Attorney General Pam Bondi refused to answer a question about the Epstein case on Tuesday (July 15). Speaking at a press conference on drug enforcement actions at Drug Enforcement Administration DEA headquarters, Bondi received a question about the Epstein case. She rejected to answer question and said “I appreciate your question but this today is about fentanyl overdoses throughout our country about who lost loved ones to fentanyl, nothing about Epstein. I am not going to talk about Epstein.” Epstein, a wealthy financier accused of sex trafficking and related crimes, died by suicide in a New York City jail in 2019. Photos of the US President Donald Trump and Epstein together have long been made public, but Trump said he was unaware of the offenses of Epstein, who was convicted of procuring a minor for prostitution and sex trafficking. Bondi recently said the US would not be releasing Epstein’s client list as none existed. The Trump administration’s walking back pledges to release files long sought by conservative allies has drawn criticism in some circles.
