SHOTLIST: GAZA, PALESTINE (JULY 16, 2025) (ANADOLU - ACCESS ALL) VARIOUS OF PEOPLE CARRYING WOUNDED PEOPLE, WOUNDED CHILDREN TO AL-AHLI BAPTIST HOSPITAL / WOUNDED PEOPLE, WOUNDED CHILDREN RECEIVING MEDICAL TREATMENT GAZA, PALESTINE - JULY 16, 2025: Several Palestinians were injured, including children, in Israeli army attack on the Saftawi area in northern Gaza City, located in the northern Gaza Strip. Those affected by the attack were transferred to Al-Ahli Baptist Hospital in the city. Rejecting international calls for a ceasefire, the Israeli army has pursued a brutal offensive on Gaza since the end of 2023, killing nearly 58,600 Palestinians, most of them women and children. The relentless bombardment has destroyed the enclave and led to food shortages and the spread of diseases. Last November, the International Criminal Court issued arrest warrants for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his former Defense Minister Yoav Gallant for war crimes and crimes against humanity in Gaza. Israel also faces a genocide case at the International Court of Justice for its war on the enclave.
