US, Bakersfield: Bakersfield 1 Dead Following Shooting
Bakersfield, United States - January 14, 2026 01/14/2026 10:51 am GMT-0800 BAKERSFIELD, Calif. – A search is underway for suspects after a shooting on the 1300 block of Rosalia Drive that left one person dead, according to initial reports. The suspects reportedly walked up to the victim, with at least one opening fire. The victim died at the scene. The suspects were believed to be armed with a rifle and a shotgun. After the shooting, the suspects fled on foot before getting into a vehicle and leaving the area, according to initial reports. No arrests have been announced, though one person was seen in custody at the scene.
