Phoenix, United States - January 15, 2026 01/14/2026 10:55 pm GMT-0700 TEMPE, Ariz. – The Tempe Fire Department responded shortly before 11 p.m. Wednesday to reports of a traffic collision with entrapment on Beck Avenue near 4th Street. Arriving at the scene, firefighters discovered a two-car collision, with one vehicle overturned. Firefighters assessed the injured occupants and determined that neither individual was trapped inside their vehicle. The male driver of the upright car was assisted from his vehicle and subsequently transported by Tempe FD personnel to a local hospital with unknown injuries. A second female occupant was treated at the scene for minor injuries. Witnesses, who spoke off camera, reported that the male driver appeared to experience a medical emergency, which led to him losing control of his car before crashing into the other vehicle and causing the rollover.
