Preeya Shah’s 26th birthday took a humorous turn when she arrived at her brother’s house for a celebratory evening, only to find her birthday cake had already been sampled.

Her sister-in-law excitedly pulled the cake box from the fridge, teasing a surprise. But before Preeya could open it, her brother confessed: “Just know I accidentally ate some of the cake.” Inside, the peanut butter and carrot cake slices had been nibbled, while the Oreo cheesecake remained untouched, ironically, the one flavor Preeya doesn’t even like.

I came to my brother’s house on my 26th birthday to spend the evening with him and his wife. His wife told me that they had a surprise treat for me! She pulled a cake box out of the fridge and my brother said “wait before you open the box, just know that I accidentally ate some of the cake.” I opened the box to see that he had eaten from the peanut butter cake and carrot cake and left the Oreo cheesecake untouched. I don’t even like cheesecake!
