Boy gutted over mashed potato birthday cake - that he requested
Watch the funny moment a young boy is given a mashed potato cake for his birthday.
Mylo Watt, from Dollar, Scotland, had just turned six years old when his brother Lachlan handed him a huge candlelit bowl of the mushy savoury side while singing 'Happy Birthday'.
His dad Michael, 33, explained he asked for it the day before his birthday on October 1 that Mylo told him he "prefers mash over a cake"."
Michael says Mylo eventually enjoyed his special request, scoffing it down after it was drowned in gravy.
Michael, a social media marketer, said: "It wasn't out of the blue for him to ask for something like this, as all he ever wants to do is eat and will literally eat anything."
"He wanted a mashed potato cake as he already had a cake at school that day and said he prefers mashed potatoes over cake anyway."
"For his birthday dinner had asked for chicken, broccoli, gravy, homemade Yorkshire puddings and then the mashed potatoes which became the cake."
"He loves family dinner."
"He was initially upset as he thought there was cheese on his beloved mashed"
but it was actually just a bit of butter melting.
"He quickly came round and was happy again. "
"Mylo ate loads and was very happy - he stuffs the mashed potatoes into the Yorkshire pudding and then pours gravy in."
The video has since gained almost 500,000 views.
