Fort Myers, United States - July 19, 2025 Deputies responded late Saturday night to Planet Fitness on South Tamiami Trail after reports of a naked man running through the gym, climbing into the ceiling, and attempting to start a fire in the bathroom. The man, 25-year-old Henrry Antunez-Avarado, had been asked to leave the gym at closing time after staff noticed his erratic behavior. Surveillance footage showed him sprinting unclothed through the building, entering multiple rooms, and even lying naked on a hydro massage bed. At one point, Antunez-Avarado climbed into the ceiling, knocking down several ceiling tiles throughout the gym. Eventually, deputies found him hiding naked inside a tanning bed, described as "a little sun-kissed." He was arrested and charged with indecent exposure, arson, criminal mischief, and providing false identification to law enforcement. This was not Antunez-Avarado’s first encounter with the law. In 2023, he was convicted of attempted burglary, trespassing, and loitering/prowling.
