Anne Hathaway has been spotted filming for the Devil Wears Prada sequel in New York City.

The footage - filmed on 5th Avenue, Manhattan, New York City, on July 22, 2025 - shows Anne Hathaway's character, Andy Sachs, running through a crowd of people.

The sequel of the much-loved movie will feature most of the original cast, including Meryl Streep, Stanley Tucci, and Emily Blunt.

New cast members include Kenneth Branagh, who is reported to be playing the Runway editor-in-chief, Miranda Priestly's new husband.

Emily Garofalo, 22, who works in fashion, said she was "shocked" and "excited" to see the filming while she was at work."

She said: "I am a huge fan of the original. I work in the fashion industry now, and that movie was a blueprint of a young girl working in the New York City fashion industry."

"It was very cool to see the filming from my desk."

"I am so excited for the second film, I was wary when they announced a sequel to something that was so perfect already, but I feel it will be good."
