A delivery rider impressed shoppers with an impromptu piano performance while waiting to collect an order at a mall.

Footage shows the Grab rider playing a smooth instrumental rendition of British pop star Ed Sheeran's hit 'Perfect' in Manila, the Philippines.

Wearing a green long-sleeved uniform with the company logo and a face mask, he calmly pressed the keys of a grand piano placed in the public area.

Shopping mall visitors paused to watch as they were mesmerised by the unexpected musical display.

Shopper Gaylord Jimenez said: ‘I did not know his name, but he was amazing. Talent knows no uniform, sometimes, a driver is also a hidden maestro.'

Gaylord said he was having coffee when he heard the music and followed it.

He said: ‘I honestly thought a professional pianist was performing. But when I looked, he turned out to be a delivery rider. I was even more impressed, because it showed me that talent has no age limit and it never fades.'

The delivery rider, who had a talent for music, then stopped playing when he seemed shy from the attention he was drawing.
