This is the dramatic moment strong winds blew signboards into a coffee shop in the Philippines.

Footage captured by Darlene Perez shows a kindhearted customer securing the glass doors as fierce winds and heavy rain battered the shopping mall in Quezon City, Metro Manila.

Outdoor chairs and store signage were seen being tossed across the entrance of the shop at Ayala Malls Fairview Terraces on August 12.

The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) reported that Metro Manila, the rest of Luzon, Western Visayas, and the Negros Island Region could expect partly cloudy to overcast skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to the southwest monsoon.

Residents in affected areas were advised to take precautions and prepare for potential flooding.
