This is the bizzare moment two women battled strong winds blowing from a mysterious Chinese cave known for its year-round chilly breeze.

Footage shows the two tourists trying to walk past the mossy entrance of the cave emitting powerful gales in Daxi Town in Chongqing.

The women struggled to steady themselves for fear of being blown over on July 30.

Locals said the cave, known as the 'Magical Cool Wind Cave', has an underground river inside which contributes to the wind flow.

They added that the cave emits a consistent cool wind at around 20 degrees Celsius all year long, earning it a reputation as a 'natural air conditioner'.

The women later pushed through, laughing as they made it past the cave's windy threshold.
