This is the hilarious moment a mischievous pet dog was caught on CCTV stealing a family's rice cooker.

Natthakrit Insao's mother-in-law was preparing to cook rice when she discovered that the appliance had vanished in Sisaket, Thailand.

The baffled family searched everywhere before checking the surveillance camera to see who the unlikely thief might be. To their surprise, it was not a burglar at all—but a cheeky canine.

CCTV footage shows the white culprit trotting confidently toward the house on August 13.

Moments later, the four-legged bandit can be seen sprinting away carrying the rice cooker.

Natthakrit said: 'We still haven't found the dog until now, and we're hoping to get the rice cooker back. We can't believe a dog could even do that, instead of going for food, it chose the whole appliance, which we found funny.'
