Deliveroo driver caught on doorbell camera riding off with the order
A Deliveroo driver was caught on a doorbell camera marking food as delivered before riding off with the order.
Daniel Ali, 19, from Bristol, spotted the driver taking a photo of his food delivery before placing it back into his bag and cycling away on August 18.
After the clip circulated on TikTok, the driver contacted Ali directly, apologised, and confirmed the order details to prove it was him.
Deliveroo have refunded the cost of the meal and Ali has since removed the footage.
He described the incident as a "crazy experience" that only unfolded because of TikTok."
A Deliveroo spokesperson: "Deliveroo is committed to ensuring the highest standards of behaviour and we take customer experience extremely seriously. We offboarded the rider and issued a refund to the customer after they alerted us to this incident."
