Commuters can doodle on subway station tunnel while they wait for train
Commuters were given the opportunity to doodle on a subway station tunnel wall while waiting for their train in Thailand.
Footage shows travellers, many along with their children, taking part in the interactive art activity at the 43 metre Friendship Tunnel in Samyan Mitrtown, Pathumwan District, Bangkok, on August 21.
The project has temporarily turned the walkway into a public drawing space, where passersby can contribute to a growing mural.
The entire wall features illustrations of iconic landmarks across Bangkok, brought together in one large artwork.
Authorities said the event is part of the MasterPeace Painting project by artist Tent Katchakul, with official support from Frasers Property Thailand and the Mass Rapid Transit Authority of Thailand (MRTA).
The initiative encourages the public to reflect on and express their vision of an ideal city through collaborative art.
Organisers provided coloured markers for participants to use freely, and each person received complimentary stickers designed by the artist.
Visitors were also invited to add their own drawings in the spaces left between existing doodles.
Bangkok Governor Chadchart Sittipunt attended the event and contributed by colouring in a tree illustration on the wall.
The free activity will remain open to the public until September 20, from 10 am to 8 pm.
