Flags of the world are put up in response to 'Raise the Colours' campaign in Sutton
Flags of various nations seen in this footage filmed on the 2nd September, have appeared alongside St George's and Union flags in Sutton High Street.
The EU, Italian, Indian, Spanish, Australian and other flags were tied to lampposts in response to the British flags being put up at last Friday, as part of 'Operation Raise the Colours' aimed as uniting the nation.
Critics, however have said the acts have left others feeling intimidated and are an excuse for xenophobic behaviour.
