Watch the hilarious moment eight sheep wander into a pub to the surprise of the staff.

The woolly visitors strolled into the Blue Bell Country Inn in Arkendale, North Yorks., at 4:30 pm moments before evening diners were due to arrive.

CCTV captures the moment the small flock enter the watering hole on Sunday August 7 to the bemusement of the staff.

But luckily assistant manager Hannah Parkin, 30, was on duty and quickly shooed them through the backdoor exit.

Emily Gaunt, 28, who is also an assistant manager was working in the office upstairs at the time of the incident.

She said: "When I saw what had happened I rushed downstairs to see what was happening."

"I was shocked to see the sheep - it was crazy as nothing like this has happened before."

"You don't ever expect anything like this to happen."

"When they walked inside they all looked really confused."

"Luckily though Hannah was around to herd them out of the back door exit."

"We have lots of funny comments on Facebook post saying they must have come in to get a pint."

The pub posted the video footage on social media which has been seen by thousands.

One person commented on the post saying: "It's always been a very welcoming Baaaaa."

Another said: "I'll have a pint of what ewe'r on."

One other said: "Now The Blue Bell at BAAArkendale."

The Blue Bell said that they "fully disinfected" the pub before they continued with service."
