Shamokin, Northumberland County, Pa03:20 NCCC dispatched a first alarm for a possible structure fire at 131 N. Franklin St. Shamokin on March 1st.Pd upon arrival relayed via NCCC to the responding units/officers that this was a WSF fire. Shamokin Chief immediately upgraded the box to second alarm status bringing in additional units from Coal Township, Kulpmont, Atlas, and Mount Carmel.The fire has been determined to of started at 131 N. Franklin and spread to the 2 attached homes and damaged a 3rd neighboring structure before being brought under control about 2 hrs later.Structure details:The structure was a tripple town home with 2 vacant units.Frame type was double frame. Pa State police Fire Marshal Norman Fedder, Raymond J. Siko II, in association with the Shamokin Police Department and Bureau of Fire has determined the fire was the result of arson and anyone with information should contact authorities at (570) 648-5708Fire video has been divided into 5 links plus 1 for stills as this was documented in HD 1920 x 1080P
