PARIS, FRANCE - SEPT. 13: Hundreds of demonstrators held a protest in Paris on Saturday, Sept. 13, to denounce Israeli attacks on Gaza and show their support for the Global Sumud flotilla heading toward the Palestinian enclave.
The protesters marched between the Gobelins metro station and Place d’Italie.
The demonstrators carried Palestinian flags, banners, and symbolic paper boats in the colors of the Palestinian flag during the protest, which was initiated by the CAPJPO-EuroPalestine collective.
The miniature boats, bearing messages such as “Free Palestine” and “Stop Genocide,” aimed to draw attention to the humanitarian catastrophe in the Gaza Strip.
The demonstrators chanted slogans calling for the lifting of the Gaza blockade and listened to speeches condemning the worsening humanitarian crisis.
Last November, the International Criminal Court issued arrest warrants for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his former Defense Minister Yoav Gallant for war crimes and crimes against humanity in Gaza.
Israel also faces a genocide case at the International Court of Justice for its war on the enclave.
