6. PROTESTERS SINGING MEXICO CITY, MEXICO - SEPTEMBER 20: Pro-Palestinian demonstrators marched through Mexico City on Saturday, Sept. 20, to show support for Gaza and the Global Sumud Flotilla, calling on the Mexican government to cut diplomatic ties with Israel and demand a ceasefire in Gaza.

Carrying Palestinian flags and banners, protesters gathered in the city center before marching toward the Israeli Embassy, where the rally concluded.

Organizers accused Israel of committing war crimes in Gaza and urged Mexico to take a stronger stance.

The demonstration came as activists worldwide marked solidarity with Gaza, highlighting the blockade and humanitarian crisis in the enclave.

Since Oct. 7, 2023, Israel has been carrying out a genocide in Gaza, which has so far killed more than 65,200 Palestinians, most of them women and children.

Last November, the International Criminal Court issued arrest warrants for Netanyahu and his former Defense Minister Yoav Gallant for war crimes and crimes against humanity in Gaza.

Israel also faces a genocide case at the International Court of Justice for its war on the enclave.
