2. VARIOUS OF FALCONS, TRAINERS PRESENTING THEM TO VISITORS DOHA, QATAR - SEPT. 14, 2025: The 9th International Hunting and Falcons Exhibition was held on Sunday, Sept. 14, in Qatar’s capital Doha, attracting thousands of visitors.
The event, taking place at the Katara Cultural Village, has drawn the participation of numerous ambassadors and representatives of diplomatic missions.
Exhibitors from Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Lebanon, Pakistan, Germany, the United Kingdom, China, Spain, France, the United States, Portugal, Belgium, Russia, Australia, South Africa, Lithuania and Poland are showcasing their products at the fair.
Leading local and international companies specialized in state-of-the-art hunting weapons and equipment, falconry supplies, and desert and safari gear are taking part in the exhibition.
Alongside advanced hunting, travel and camping gear, visitors can also view luxury handicraft products on display.
Falconry, which holds a significant place in Qatari culture, continues to be practiced as both a profession and a hobby in the country. Falcons and hawks, considered national symbols in Qatar and other Gulf states, are featured not only at festivals but also at various cultural events.
Qatar’s falcons were inscribed on UNESCO’s Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity in 2010.
